Daudi Ramadhani is a Partner at REX Advocates. He is holder of an LLB (Hons) (University of Dar es Salaam) and an LLM (University of Cape Town) with 10 years of experience. He has advised local and international clients in a variety of industries seeking to introduce new products and services into the Tanzanian market and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Daudi’s experience includes advising lead banks in syndicated and project financing transactions as well as lead arrangers on corporate bond issues. He has also successfully closed a number of projects in the mining, energy and telecoms sectors.

In addition to banking and finance law, Daudi has experience in general corporate, M&A, mining, oil and gas work, and was part of the team that advised on the acquisition of the leading oil and gas company in Tanzania, particularly on issues relating to antitrust, upstream regulatory approvals and tax-related matters.

He has also conducted a number of legal due diligences, prepared legal opinions, drafted and reviewed contractual documents, advised on the set up of companies, regulatory licences and compliancerequirements for numerous companies in various sectors including telecommunication and mining.

Furthermore, Daudi also has experience in commercial and civil litigation as well as (ICC) International Commercial Arbitration.
