Mr. Ramadhani is a Partner at Rex Advocates (Erstwhile ENSafrica Tanzania). He has over ten (10) years of experience having joined the firm as a junior counsel and rising to this position. He qualified with an LLM in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town, RSA. He is enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and a member of both the Tanganyika Law Society and the East African Law Society.
At Rex Mr. Ramadhani has been actively involved in a number of projects which involved advising various corporate clients (both local and international clients) in a number of industries who are active in the market including those seeking to introduce new products and services into the market and ensuring regulatory compliance with the Tanzanian law.
Mr. Ramadhani’s practicing experience also extends to various banking and commercial law matters. His experience included advising the Lead Banks in several syndicated and project financing transactions and the Lead Arrangers in corporate bond issues. He has successfully closed several other projects in the mining, energy and telecoms sectors in the country.
In addition to banking and finance, Mr. Ramadhani has experience in general Corporate, MA, mining, oil and gas work. He was part of the team that advised on the acquisition of the leading oil and gas company in Tanzania, particularly on issues relating to antitrust, upstream regulatory approvals and tax related matters. He has also conducted legal due diligences, prepared legal opinions, drafted and/or reviewed contractual documents, advised on the set up of companies, regulatory licenses and compliance requirements for numerous companies in various sectors including the telecommunication and mining sectors. Furthermore, Mr. Ramadhani also has experience in commercial and civil litigation as well as (ICC) International Commercial Arbitration.
